To the moon, Alice!

Well, their names aren't Alice and they're not exactly going to the moon, but I was so pleased to see space shuttle Discovery launch yesterday.

Space travel is fascinating to me, and if you're equally as interested, you should really check out Jen's site, For the Birds. She's a shuttle electrical technician at NASA and has a very cool slideshow up of up-close photos taken before and during the launch. As for me, I've had the last two days off. I'm trying to save money for an upcoming trip to Virginia, so my time was spent at home doing housework. Oh joy. Not much new to share, so go to Jen's site and take a look at her pictures!
