My life, as of now

It looks easier than it is, trust me. But this is my interpretation of the color wheel.

Basically, we were asked to come up with a logical design for the primary, secondary and tertiary colors. Then add five shades and five tints. Me, being a moron, opted to do 15 shades and 15 tints. We were only allowed to use the primary colors (red, blue and yellow), so every color from there had to be mixed. Let me tell you, that ain't easy.

Anyhow, this is my workspace. It's a bit messy, kind of like my brain these days!

School's out for the semester on Dec. 8. I'm counting down the days. My brain is a bit fried.

(*Photos taken from my iPhone, so the colors aren't exactly accurately depicted.)

Etsy Christmas

Merry Christmas.
Thank you, Etsy.

Seriously, this year is going to be at least 50 percent Etsy, when it comes to gifts. How did I shop before this site?

Fo shizzle, Martha

OK, so I haven't quite had time to blog about all the cool things that are going on, but I couldn't resist a short post on who Martha Stewart's peeps somehow got to appear on her show.

Either Snoop Dogg is going soft on us, or Martha's trying to gangsta her image a bit. What ever it is, this is awesome.

Hanging my head

I've never gone this long without posting. And I have so much to write about.

My mother and Erroyl were in town a week ago, school still is amazingly hard/fun and I'm so ready for the holidays!

I'm off Sunday and Monday. If I still have any readers out there, look for a post then!

I need a break!

OK, really, I'm tired and still have tons of stuff to do. I got an extra hour this weekend, but I really needed that to quadruple or even go 10 times over. But it's OK. I'd rather be too busy than bored to tears.

The lack of time has somewhat bummed me out, though. Sign-ups have begun for the third-annual holiday ornament swap (sign up here), and I don't think I'm going to have the time this year! I had told myself I'd work on one ornament a week, but that hasn't happened. My fun little Christmas tradition only lasted two years. Grr ...

My mother and her husband come into town on Wednesday, so I'm trying to think up a bunch of fun things for us to do. My brain is a bit overwhelmed at the moment, so all I've come up with is going out to dinner. Ha! Surely there's something more than eating!

OK, have to get ready for class!
